Plagued by a series of apocalyptic visions, a young husband and father questions whether to shelter his family from a coming storm, or from himself.

I knew I was going to love this movie from the second I saw the trailer but what I didn’t know was how much. Since I watch Boardwalk Empire I already knew how awesome Michael Shannon & Shea Whigham are and I’ve seen enough of Jessica Chastain to know she would be great too. This movie shook me to the core (lame) but I literally had goosebumps watching the last 30 minutes of it.Jeff Nichols did an amazing job with this movie. The only people that wouldn’t like it are little kids and that’s because they can’t keep up. Everyone should watch this, I haven’t been enthralled in a film like this in a very long time.
